Kaws “500 Years Later” Companion by Frank Kozik

With the yearly Comic Con revealing its usual glut of dress-up nerds and interesting products, one of the highlights include a custom Kaws Companion done by a man no stranger to toys himself, Frank Kozik. Dubbed the “500 Years Later”, the concept is a similar take to an official release by OriginalFake Kaws Companion titled “5 Years Later” which featured glow in the dark properties.

This is a short clip from a live set by Etienne de Crecy, a French house producer, during the Transmusicales fesitvals in Rennes, France, last year.

He stands inside some sort of half transparent Rubik’s Cube on which some very nice animations are shown. Exyzt, an architectural collective form Paris, was responsible for this unique light show.
